Ask the Storm Cloud

A clay stop-motion set: a storm cloud thuds down onto the head of a soft mint-colored friend, and rain pours. In TAKE 1, “It's okay! Cheer up!” bounces off the cloud, which only swells and even rumbles with thunder — rewind the tape to TAKE 2. With one yellow speech bubble, “How hard was that for you?”, the cloud opens up, and the raindrops float up as speech bubbles — “I was upset · I felt let down · I'm worn out” — while a white cloud drifts up. It ends with the research note's “Dismissing feelings vs. Acknowledging feelings” and a side-by-side comparison of the two TAKEs.
