The Secret to Becoming Team Lead in One Year

Two identical tomato-red chairs thud down in a mint-colored office. Only the right one shoots up to “Team lead in one year?”, then rewinds back, and the “Checklist Before You Make Team Lead” begins. In each of three scenes — the meeting, Friday, a coworker — the left chair hides its opinions, waits, and only does its own work, while the right one backs its words with reasons, asks for feedback, and helps whenever there's a spare moment. With each box checked, the chair goes up with a “pshh.” After the rookie's chair transforms into a team lead's chair, the twist arrives: the wheels (ability) were identical from the start, and what lifted it was the cylinder (attitude). In the end the left chair becomes “you,” rising to the same height starting Monday.
