The Cracked Teacup
It shows the ending first — in the blink of the teacup's big eyes, a crack splits it and the lid clatters shut — then rewinds. A glance at the phone · avoiding eye contact · interrupting to talk about yourself — every checked box adds another crack, and the “Trust” sugar-cube tower the two built collapses with a single phone buzz. Flip the phone face-down and meet their eyes, and the cracks are mended with gold as the closed lid pops open.
