Fridge Station: Non-Stop Service
The “Chapssal Line” train, carrying individually wrapped sweet rice cakes in each car, stops at Fridge Station — and conductor Chaltteok-i hardens “thunk!” like a stone the moment he steps off. Rewind, and the announcement plays: “This train will not stop at Fridge Station.” The train gets sealed and frozen solid at Freezer Station, a single car is detached and woken up soft at Thaw Station, and it arrives at the last stop, “Shopping Cart Station.”
