Opening Countdown: Gimbap Launch!
The lamps light up in a dark teal control room — “T-60:00” — and a rice-cooker flight controller in a headset starts the opening-prep countdown. Rice, egg strips, fillings and the bamboo-mat roll each get a GO, then a HOLD right before launch — the culprit is the controller, munching away on the gimbap ends. After “All clear!”, the shutter launches on three, two, one, and a foil-wrapped gimbap rocket opens its parachute and lands in the hands of a morning commuter.
