How the Hair Salon Wakes Up
At 9:55 a.m., winding the key of the mint tin music box on the counter opens its lid mirror, and a flat-panel doll hair salon springs up with a "pop." With each turn of the stage, sunlight runs over and sits on the window sofa, the chair in front of the mirror adjusts its height with a "chik-chik-chik," warm water and towel steam fill the shampoo station, and combs and hair dryers line up one after another on the shelf. The one twirling in the middle wasn't a ballerina but a salon chair wearing a gown skirt — at ten o'clock, when the key stops, the chair turns to face you.
