The Tree-Ring Door — The Hidden Cake House in Daeheung-dong

The whole screen is a walnut cross-section drawn in code. It splits open like a sliding door along the grain down the middle, and real photos and video of Hideout fill the screen. The scenes flow like a walk: wooden pillars and ferns, slices of cake on the table, Dwaeji Bar, Salty Peanut and Mugwort Gâteau, from beside the coffee out to the green outside, all the way to stepping out with a whole-cake box in hand. When the door closes at the end, the tree rings light up in gold one line at a time from the center, revealing "2015."
