At night, in front of a phone at 99%, a gloved finger taps “Just 1% more…” and gives a thumbs-up at the 100% “ding!” An iris closes into the phone and opens again on Barry, the battery character, being force-fed electricity by the spoonful. His belly is about to burst and his buckle pops off with a “ping,” while a syllable squeezes into the on-screen word “battery,” turning it into the Korean pun “belly's gonna burst.” The lifespan bar gets chopped in half, the pressure gauge hits MAX, and after being plugged in all night Barry turns into a grandpa. Rewind the film and stop at 80%, and the lifespan bar stretches out ×2. Flip on the “charge limit” switch, the plug pops out, and Barry lets out a “burp!”
