When the Lantern Goes Off

On blue photo paper, a white lantern clicks on and the words “First camping,” appear. A forest beyond the neighborhood rooftops, a sun resting on the ridgeline, a spread-out jacket, a fire in the fire pit, and a pre-pitched bell tent rise as white photograms every 2–3 seconds, with no numbers. At the final tip, the lantern goes off, the screen sinks into night, and stars light up one by one in the blue of the photo paper.
