Traveler Observation Log

A nature documentary parody. In a telephoto viewfinder, a blue gate opens and out steps a traveler wearing a giant shell-like backpack. Dumping the backpack at the guesthouse, the traveler switches to slippers and makes the rounds: the alley bakery, the beach, the sunset on the breakwater. On the tracking map, the whole day's route is drawn inside the “slipper zone” around the guesthouse. Finally the camera pulls back to reveal the film crew sitting on the same guesthouse's wooden deck, in slippers too.
