The Culprit Is in This Group Chat

In the late-night group chat “Just Us, Secretly,” social, shopping and game apps send “Checking new posts!” with their eyes closed, draining the dying battery's energy one by one. The settings gear stamps “CULPRIT” and posts a settings card. Each time a toggle is turned off, “Social has left the chat.” appears. When the messenger, left alone, asks “Should I leave too?”, the answer is “Just keep the messenger on and you're done!” The battery pulls up the covers and drifts into a sweet sleep.
