The Nod Test: Did It Fail?

With a clapperboard "Clack!", the yellow test dummy in an airplane seat nods off again and again — "Thud!" After the S3 seat strap is wrapped around the headrest and the test is rerun, a red "FAILED!" stamp slams down — the head stays put, so the experiment has failed. The spring-necked dummy that kept tilting toward the person beside it goes quiet in front of the tall supports on both sides, and the neck pillow rolls up like a cinnamon roll and slips into its case, one-third the size, and into the bag.
