The “rip” of the tear line, the “click” of the paper hanger and the “trickle” of pouring in three goes become big letters made from the material of each sound, and “Perky,” a microphone with ears, reacts to every sound. The music stops, coffee drips down drop by drop, four cup notes ring out one tone at a time, and the question “How's it going?” thuds down as the blend's name tag.
