Inside a dim walnut-paneled shop, sunlight strikes the round 12-petal clock window set in the door, and the petals light up one by one. Each time the hour hand points to 1, 2 or 3, we step into that petal to find a reason to visit: wrapping that envelops a single flower on a giant scale, a speech bubble that speaks first, and a note on how to look longer. The 4 o'clock slot, transparent and empty from the start, is filled at the end with "the time you'll drop by." Tiffany stained glass and an accordion musette waltz.
