The Eraser Has No Work These Days
Out of work because the teacher says not to erase wrong solutions, an eraser holds up a “Looking for Work” sign and introduces the class. It charges in and bonks into a red-pen barrier, while the teacher circles the mistake and explains it three ways — with a scale, with bars and by working backward — and finally hands her glasses over to the student's pencil. The eraser's job finally arrives: scrubbing out the doodle “I'm bad at math,” and in its place is written “It's okay to be wrong.”
