The mouse cursor, Mom's hand and a lightning bolt pop three myth balloons in turn — “Photos loaded fast?”, “You could use the phone while online?”, “Connecting was free?” — so a puppy photo that had almost finished loading cuts off the moment Mom picks up the receiver, and a month later the phone bill flies in through the window and explodes before a “smack!” lands on your back. At the end, the modem sings again and the end screen answers: “Connected!”
