Flip It, and It's the Answer
Over an alarm clock ringing at dawn, "3 minutes in the morning" slams in, and at "180 degrees" the whole screen flips into a sunrise. When the DM "Honestly, it's a lie, right?" gets stamped with an X, the clock shakes its head, and inside a 3-minute ring timer a glass of water, a stretch and a Post-it come in one by one. For the next three DMs, an OX board spins front to back and lands on X every time. A drowsy cloud trailing behind in "sleep inertia," the 3 steps of "my experience" (2 weeks, one month, 3 months), and a tower of to-do cards crashing down show the evidence. At the last DM, the music stops and the board spins for a long while until it finally lands on O — that O rises and becomes the sun. A glass of water slides in next to the alarm on the nightstand, and "Life, flipped" turns things over once more.
