This Is What Ruins You
With a bright flash, an 1882 photo card of Nietzsche drops and a “WARNING” sticker slaps onto it. Flip the film-style slides on every beat and the word “lethargy” wilts and drips away, as the morning phone, daytime info and nighttime Netflix pass by one after another. With a record scratch the camera pulls back: those slides were my phone, in bed. Switch on the “Action” toggle and the morning sun floods the room as the phone flies toward the pillow.
